Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Acheivement Divisions (STAD) terhadap hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik pada materi tata nama senyawa kimia. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan jenis penelitian quasi experimental dengan bentuk time series design. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X MIA SMA Santo Paulus Manokwari yang berjumlah 15 orang. Prasyaratan analisis data menunjukkan bahwa data tidak berdistribusi normal namun data homogen sehingga hasil penelitian diuji menggunakan uji wilcoxon. Dengan hasil nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,001 < α = 0,025 sehingga menyatakan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Acheivement Divisions (STAD) terhadap hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik. Hasil perhitungan uji N-gain menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tingkat pemahaman peserta didik pada materi yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Acheivement Divisions (STAD) terhadap hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik yang berada dalam interval  0,3 < Std (g) < 0,7 yaitu sebesar 0,68 yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Perolehan nilai persen pengaruh sebesar 37%. Hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik dapat dilihat dari rata-rata nilai pretest berturut-turut pada pretest 1, pretest 2, dan pretest 3 yaitu 44,00;44,67; dan 57,00 sedangkan nilai rata-rata posstest 1 adalah 67,00, posttest 2 adalah 67,67 dan posttest 3 adalah 68,67. Dari hasil belajar kognitif yang diperoleh memiliki arti bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD memberikan pengaruh hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik.
