About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Arfak Chem: Chemistry Education Journal is a scientific journal published by the Chemistry Education Department, Universitas Papua. This journal is published two times a year, in June and December. This journal publishes articles related to the application of chemistry, such as education, technology, development, science-based chemical evaluation, human resources, and exploring aspects of chemistry. In addition, this journal publishes original research results in pure chemistry, along with their application themes. In pure chemistry, we raise research results that examine problems related to classical chemistry, namely inorganic, organic, biochemistry, physical, and analytical chemistry.

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts are checked by qualified peer review and the authors are subject to blind-peer review whose identities will remain anonymous. The peer review process will be done after the initial screening by the consulting editors of the editorial board. The reviewers, who will perform the blind-peer reviews, comprise renowned national and international academicians and practitioners specializing in various mathematics education fields.

Submitted papers are evaluated by at least two anonymous referees for contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation (blind-peer review). The Editor shall inform you of the results of the review as soon as possible, hopefully in 30 to 60 days. Plagiarism detection of articles in this journal is carried out by using Turnitin and Mendeley as a Tool Reference Manager. The language used in this journal is English or Indonesian.

Publication Frequency

Arfak Chem: Chemistry Education Journal (ACCEJ) is published two times a year: Juni and Desember. ACCEJ publishes about at least 10 articles each year (consists of at least 5 articles each edition).

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
