Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui model pembelajaran take and give pada materi pokok Stoikiometri Reaksi kelas XI IPA SMA Advent Manokwari dan untuk melihat besar peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi pokok Stoikiometri Reaksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan model PTK Kurt Lewin yang terdiri dari dua siklus dengan masing-masing siklusnya memiliki empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Untuk melihat peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan memberikan pre-test dan post-test kepada peserta didik untuk tiap siklusnya. Data yang diperoleh, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dengan bantuan Microsoft Excel 2007 untuk menggambarkan peningkatan pada siklus. Setelah data dianalisis, terlihat bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran take and give dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMA Advent Manokwari pada materi stoikiometri reaksi. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik yang mencapai KKM yaitu ≥ 70 mengalami peningkatan sebesar 25% yaitu dari 55% pada siklus I dengan kriteria ketuntasan klasikal sedang menjadi 80% dengan kriteria ketuntasan klasikal tinggi pada siklus II
