PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DISCOVERY LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR KOGNITIF PESERTA DIDIK DI SMA NEGERI 1 KATINGAN HULU

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 3 (tiga) siklus yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui penerapan model Discovery Learning pada materi kestabilan unsur dan struktur lewis yang dilaksanakan di Kelas X MIPA pada SMA Negeri 1 Katingan Hulu. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar pengamatan aktivitas guru, lembar pengamatan aktivitas peserta didik, angket respon peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran serta hasil evaluasi yang telah dikerjakan peserta didik setelah menerima pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa penerapan model Discovery Learning pada materi kestabilan unsur dan struktur lewis dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Katingan Hulu pada materi Ikatan Kimia dari siklus I ke siklus III dengan peningkatan berturut-turut sebesar 67%, 79,33% dan 83,33%.
