Inornatus: Biology Education Journal is a peer-reviewed journal published by Universitas Papua. Inornatus: Biology Education Journal provides open access to the principle that research published in this journal is freely available to the public to support the exchange of knowledge globally. Inornatus: Biology Education Journal published two issues of articles per year: May and November. Inornatus: Biology Education Journal provides a place for academics, researchers, and practitioners to publish scientific articles. Each text sent to the Inornatus: Biology Education Journal editor is reviewed by peer review. Starting from Vol. 1 No. 1 (2018), all manuscripts sent to the Inornatus: Biology Education Journal editor are accepted in Bahasa Indonesia or English. The scope of the articles listed in this journal relates to various topics, including Biology, Biology Education, Genetics, Biotechnology, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, and Environmental Biology. This journal is available online and highly respects the ethics of publication and avoids all types of plagiarism.

Submission - Publication of Volume 1 Issue 1 and Volume 1 Issue 2 on the old website https://jurnal.unipa.ac.id/index.php/ibej, which we moved to the new website https://journalfkipunipa.org/index.php/ibej/index. Starting in 2022, Inornatus: Biology Education Journal accepts submissions to publish Volume 2 Issue 1. The next volume and issues will be published on this website.
Inornatus Biology Education journal (IBEJ) is published two times a year: May and November. IBEJ publishes at least 10 articles each year (consisting of at least 5 articles in each issue). Maximum of 12 articles per year (6 articles per issue)
Starting in 2022, IBEJ uses a continuous publication system. This means once the article has finished all of the editing and layout processes, it will be published immediately without waiting for other articles to complete the full issue. Furthermore, the full issue will be built gradually along with the other article being added. IBEJ will still publish two issues per year (May and November), and after every six months, the article will be placed in the next open issue.
